I prepared a lovely Greek Pizza last night for dinner, some of the picky-unies around here just preferred a hot dog.
Standing in the hotdog case at the grocery store. I was having such a hard time deciding what to get. Not only are there a million brands, but, made with different things, All Beef, Beef Pork Chicken, (Funny, I didn’t see the one labeled, Rats Ass).
So, needless to say I got the ones on sale “All Beef”, Nathans.
Now, I made that decision, on to the big one…..
Do you prefer the bun length? or regular? So, you think you should go with the longer one to fit the bun and you are getting MORE! But, the ones that have the length, do not fit the bun at all in width, then the hot dog is just skinny, you don’t even taste it. So, yes, being a wise consumer, I went with the average size.
Did you notice Buns are one size fits all?
Greek Pizza- Easy Recipe
- Boboli or your own fave pizza crust (10oz)
- 1/4 cup sun dried tomatoes in olive oil drained (leave 1 tbsp reserved)
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 1/4 cup basil
- 4 oz mozzarella, or Goat Cheese or soy, whatever you prefer
Coat the crust with 1 Tbsp of the reserved oil from tomatoes. Place tomatoes, spinach and cheese on pizza. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes. Add basil when done.
Yummy! Billy even liked it!
